Whole School

We have had a SPOTACULAR day today with lots of fun in the hall.  P7 created games and cooked a mountain of cupcakes for us all to enjoy!  P4/5 put on an excellent Assembly all about the meaning of Children in Need.  We raised an amazing £400!  Well done all!

We have all had a MAGICAL week at Meethill School this week.  Primary 1 – 3 enjoyed a magical road safety performance on Wednesday.  Fridays assembly with Matthew (our regular Christian preacher at Meethill) we were wowed by an illusionist and ventriloquist all the way from America!  They were sharing the message that we are all special and have lots of different gifts and talents.

Our last assembly of 2016/2017 was this morning.  It is with a very sad heart that we are saying goodbye to our longest running member of staff Mrs Bagshaw.  Over her 26 years at Meethill her contribution to the school has been considerable.  Enjoy your retirement Mrs Bagshaw and don’t forget to come and visit us!

Primary 2/3 and Mrs Barbour along with some parent helpers have been working very hard on creating a new wildlife garden for the whole school to enjoy.  It is looking great and the children had loads of fun getting very muddy! Well done all!

Ranger Events and Activities in June 2017

Rangers – JUNE17

“One-Two-Three!     Once upon a time…”

It’s the way a story starts whenever the Pied Pipers perform.

The Pied Pipers are a children’s theatre troupe from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.  The Pipers are improvisational, with every performance being a different and delightful blend of familiar fairy and folk tales, nursery rhymes, poems, games and songs.  Every performance is designed for the age and number of children.

On Wednesday 10th May Meethill had a visit from the Pied Pipers all the way from the United States of America.  P5/6 had great fun in a workshop following their performance.
